In brief, my role as Site Director is to strategically lead and co-ordinate the Llantrisant Team in South Wales. My area of responsibility covers the people, processes and products of Llantrisant. My main focus is to ensure that overall we continue to be competitive in today’s difficult UK manufacturing environment.
In recent years the site has gone through many changes, so much so that it has become a key part in the development of our culture and we now welcome change! We have integrated several new product ranges into Llantrisant resulting in a complete transformation in our product profile and hence providing new challenges to us all.
To ensure that we remain competitive we continuously challenge and review the way we operate thus improving our products and performance. What is good enough today will be an under achievement tomorrow.
As a Design and Manufacturing facility our strategy is to provide the ‘business’ with quality products from conception to delivery at the right cost and when needed. Collectively we have a great deal of knowledge and experience in modern design and manufacturing techniques. Application of these techniques make us a very flexible factory.
The Llantrisant site has many strengths, but the greatest asset to the site is the people and the ‘desire for success’ attitude we share.
